6 comments Alright, let’s try something new. So far, I’ve used Virtuemart (from Joomla), X-Cart and CubeCart. For my new project, I’m gonna try PrestaShop.
Here’s some facts on PrestaShop:
- PrestaShop is the first E-Commerce project to be granted the Open-Source Award (Best Open-Source E-Commerce Application)
- there’s more than 50,000 sites in the world using PrestaShop
- there’s more than 600,000 users in the community
- there’s more than 250 features in PrestaShop, and more that can be downloaded using PrestaShop Addons
- Prestashop offers over 40 different languages for free
I’ll try it and see how it goes. And after this, I’m gonna try WordPress’ e-Commerce platform.

@diana, what do you mean by module lists?
As for the Fatal error, you gotta provide more info on that or I won’t be able to help you.

You blog is really one of most great blogs I have ever read. I will be back frequently.
You are right, PrestaShop is a great open source online store.
There are lot 3rd party contributions. The Paypal Express Checkout module is very popular one, no customer registration, no SSL, easy to install and more feature. http://addons-modules.com/
