My previous post was about Google changing their logo design and the look and feel of their search pages. And right now, I’ve noticed that Wikipedia has changed theirs too! Wikipedia.org has got a subtly changed logo image (the puzzle globe) and a new improved design for the whole website – cleaner, more professional look and better usability. There’s also new and improved features in Wikipedia namely the navigation, editing toolbar, simplified editing features, link wizard and search function.

For now, Wikipedia allows for switching back to the previous site but you would have to login (or sign up) if you haven’t. Here’s the link – http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UserLogin&returnto=Special%3AUsabilityInitiativePrefSwitch&returntoquery=mode%3Doff[adsense]

To learn more about the new features, visit Wikipedia’s New Features page – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:UsabilityInitiativePrefSwitch
