Black and white are usually the 2 most used colors when it comes to design, be it digital or print. While statistics show that the most popular color used in websites is blue, dominant colors in a website are still black and white.

In 2008, blue was color used in the majority of websites and till this year, 2011, it still is.

Creating a B&W or grayscale-themed website isn’t much of a challenge (in my opinion) as it would be pretty difficult to mess up the color combination of a website if you’re just using black and white, wouldn’t it?

But then again, it would require quite a load of creativity to make a website look brilliant just by using these 2 colors.
