Mashable has just introduced their new and improved Share button a few minutes ago. I was reading the Foursquare Day Sets Record With 3M+ Checkins article a while ago when all of a sudden the old sharing buttons cross-faded into the new one.
I noticed Mashable.com have been doing quite a fair bit of enhancements to their site these past few months with regards to usability, functionality and aesthetics. For instance their site navigation, share buttons, link colors and effects, photo galleries and more.
The New & Improved M Share Button

The button generally allows for much easier sharing as compared to the old share buttons. Why? Because merely with a click, you automatically share across all the social sharing networks you’re signed in with. You just have to sign once in each individual sharing site and Mashable will do the magic for you. As of now, there are 4 social sharing sites available under the Mashable Share button – Facebook, Twitter, Digg and Google Buzz. I’m sure there will be more soon.

Share on 4 social sharing networks with just a click of the Share button
No annoying JavaScript popup windows. Significantly reduced loading time. That’s why I love it so much.
Hey Mashable, make one for me pleeease.

I love the new sharing button, very easy to use and encourages sharing on multiple networks.
Are there any scripts or plugins to copy the idea?
